If your child, when hungry, asks you for bread,
do you give them a stone? If they ask for a piece of fish, do you offer a snake or a scorpion instead?
If you, who live earthly lives, and are spiritually dead, know (instinctively) how to provide good things for your children, imagine how much more your heavenly Father (God) is willing, able, and desiring to provide spiritual life,
whenever you ask.
