The Villa Carlotta

The Villa Carlotta in Hollywood

One of the most historic buildings in Hollywood, the Villa Carlotta was built in 1927 by William Randolf Hurst, and was originally a hotel
for the famous actors of the time. Edward G. Robinson, George Cukor, Louella Parsons, Marian Davies, and Thomas Ince lived in the
Carlotta, to name a few. Above (left to right) we see the entrance, the lobby, and the concert grand piano looking out to the garden.

The living room in my apartment in the Villa Carlotta. It is shaded from direct sun, and cooled by the sounds of water from the garden fountain. Piano is a vintage Knabe.
