TRIBUTE TO MARK ROTHKO
The paintings of Mark Rothko have been a recurring muse in my photographs and especially in
the "painted" prints I've been working with the past year. The origin of this image is the side

Mark Rothko, born Marcus Rothkowitz (1903 - 1970), was a Russian-born
American painter. He is often classified as an "abstract impressionist,"
although he refused this label, and even rejected the word "abstact."
