Rickie Lee Jones Launches a New Web Community

The Internet provides a test site for building new communal experiences. Relying on her years in the recording industry, and determination to explore better ways to distribute and market music, Rickie Lee Jones is launching Furniture for the People, a website that will make available good music, dialogue, and connectivity between the performer and her fans and the issues they share. Who we are is an amalgam of our community, and www.furnitureforthepeople.com will offer a comfortable place for reading, conversation, and musical discovery.

One of the first releases from Furniture for the People will be a new recording of original songs from Rickie Lee Jones, available to members of the FFTP community.
