These photographs are dedicated to my family on Stanhope Street, to Stephen, Tina, Uta, Kiki, Zadie, and all the children at Still Waters in a Storm. Together with them I have found solace and new inspiration, and have been a joyful part in a bridge that stretches across more than 7,000 miles from Bushwick to the Jaipur neighborhood of Gandhi Path West, and to the children at Josephs International School. Still Waters in a Storm has been a significant part of my life ever since meeting Stephen Haff after hearing him speak at the New School in 2015. I'm blessed to be adopted into this amazing family and to formally adopted as a grandfather by Kiki, one of the great joys and privileges ever. On June 17th we meet for the last Saturday session before the summer break. It seemed an appropriate time to consider all of our many blessings, to contemplate the "beatitudes of Bushwick."
