Joey lives downtown near the train station. He's become well known as a bass innovator in the
L.A. scene. Mike Watt championed Joey's playing, and I count us lucky to have had him join
the family that grew surrounding this project. At times, Joey bows his electric bass (as you hear
on the record in several places), making it sound like a monster cello. A kinder heart and
more giving musician would be impossible to find.
