gloria's mexican and salvadorean restaurant, culver city

Gloria's is one of Marc Chiat's favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. It's been at the same location for more than 20 years (Culver City), and dishes up delicious Salvadoran specialties, such as garlic shrimp, bistec encebollado, or sweet corn tamales with pork and cheese papusas (a savory filled pancake grilled to perfection, served with tomato sauce or their own carnitas adobada sauce). Gloria is usually there to welcome her guests, and the ambiance is friendly and festive.
